The Lady’s Slip Turns 5! A Celebration of Passion, Growth & Gratitude 💖
This August, we marked a very special milestone at The Lady’s Slip, our award-winning lingerie boutique in Ireland — five amazing years in business!
It’s hard to believe that half a decade has passed since Miriam and I opened our doors with one goal: to offer women of all shapes and sizes the perfect fit through expert bra fittings and a warm, personal shopping experience. We knew what we wanted to do - but, the question was, could we achieve it?
Celebrating in Style
We celebrated our big day in true Lady’s Slip style — with our wonderful customers!
Our boutique was full of buzz, laughter, and treats as we offered exclusive birthday offers, gorgeous goodies, and a few secret surprises tucked into shopping bags (and even into some online orders too!).
To top it all off, we were featured in a three-page spread in the News & Star, filled with heartfelt messages and good wishes from our amazing neighbours, friends and suppliers. Seeing your names and words of support in print was truly special — a reminder of the incredible community that has grown around our boutique.
Five Years of Growth, Passion & Recognition
Since we first opened The Lady’s Slip, bra fitting has been at the heart of everything we do. We believe every woman deserves to feel comfortable, confident, and supported — and we take pride in helping make that happen every single day.
Over the past five years, we’ve continued to grow — expanding our team, size range, and services both in-store and online through our beautiful new website brafairy.ie - a website that has really opened the Lady's Slip to customers all over Ireland and beyond. Brafairy.ie has been a perfect representation of the instore experience.
We’ve also been recognised for our dedication and personal approach to service, proudly winning The Personal Touch Award in the UK, where we represented Ireland and stood out among exceptional lingerie boutiques from across Ireland and the UK, in the awards known as "The Oscars of the Lingerie Industry".
Our passion for professional bra fitting and customer care has earned us not only awards, but also the trust of women who travel from all over Ireland to visit us for fittings and expert advice.
Looking Ahead — The Next Chapter
As we celebrate this milestone, we’re filled with excitement for what’s to come.
