One of the best results of getting a proper fitting bra is how comfortable and secure you feel when you get it right..now imagine being on holidays, jumping in and out of a pool or up and down from your sunbed, and having that exact same security!
Think about it - When you buy a bikini or swimsuit, you will have an item of clothing that you may be wearing for an extended period of the day. It's a much smaller item of clothing than we wear for the rest of the year...we expect it to do a particular job, yet we often overlook it whilst planning our holiday wardrobe.
And if we do overlook the importance of getting a proper fitting swimsuit/bikini...we spend our holidays/beach days, adjusting, pulling, dragging, and praying that we don't flash anyone in the process!
As a mum, I have spent many holiday years tearing around after toddlers, and now, my holidays are spent messing with my kids in the pool (trying to knock each other off lilos), my sons most definitely don't want mam to be showing anything that doesn't need to be seen...and I want to enjoy my day without worrying about inadvertently mortifying them for life (who am I kidding, they'll always find something that embarrasses them about me!)
That aside, I have often said that I believe that there is a bikini for every shape and size, and I truly believe that every body is a bikini body.
You don't need to be a perfect 10 to wear a bikini, firstly, getting a proper fitting bikini top will always lift you up, it will help to elongate your waist, and will auotmatically give a better silhouette. Then, get to trying different styled bottoms, don't be fooled that you always need to wear a full deep brief, while yes, they will work perfectly for some shapes, they are not always the most flattering - I have seen many women be surprised in our fitting rooms when we talk them into trying a lower brief.
But never fear, if you do not want a bikini, you can also opt for a swimsuit. You will always have an option that will allow you optimum support and incredible shape. One of my favourite features on swimsuits is the level of adjustment that you can get - from the straps to the legs, again, you don't always need maximum coverage for a flattering look, sometimes, adjusting the leg a small bit will totally change the look of the suit.
